Last week, James Frear sold fifteen of his paintings and he's only ten years old! James started painting a year ago, and today many people want to buy his works. His first picture was of Tigger, his pet cat, but these days he likes to paint houses and shops. His mum gave him his first box of paints when he was bored. She isn't very interested in art but his dad loves art and paints as a hobby. He showed Jame's pictures to a neighbour who is an artist. She told him, "These are nice!" and she now gives James free lessons. People often ask if James postcards or photos to help him with his paintings. His answer is, "No, I usually do a quick pencil drawing. Then I go home and paint." James doesn't do any paintings now because his dad's teaching him to skate!
